I recently downloaded the MP3 of “Uncle Fucker” from the South Park movie. Damn, if that thing isn’t catchy! It’s been in my head all morning. “Shut yer fucking face, uncle fucker…you’re the one who fucked your uncle, uncle fucker…” Personally, I love the choir in the background. I’ve been in a choir that’s done its share of recording, and I’d _love_ to see the taping for this song: OKay, here’s the sheet music for the soundtrack we’re recording. It goes like this: “Oooo, ooooooOOO, ooooOOooo, fucka, fucka, fuckafuckafuckafucka, FUCKA…!” It’s such a grand production, too…the BOOM _CHISS_ BOOM _CHISS_ of the drums and cymbols, the orchestra…great stuff. Who’ll sing along with me? ---

I sing along with the film when I’m watching it at home, plus I know most of the other lines as well. My husband is rather proud of me in a weird way. 😃 “Blame Canada” was robbed at the Oscars; stupid Phil Collins song won instead. I think Matt and Trey were quoted before the awards as saying they didn’t care about the result as long as Phil Collins didn’t win. At least it inspired that great “Timmay” episode as a result. ---

That the song is at the very beginning of the movie, before anything too far removed from the TV version has happened. They go to the T&P movie, and the immortal line showing that this AIN’T the tv version is uttered “Shut your fucking face, uncle fucker” followed closely by the song. Excellent! The boys reaction closely mimicks that of the audience. Although I have to admit to downloading the extended version of “Kyle’s Mom is a Big Fat Bitch” in B minor. The fact that they went through the trouble to make a mini-video to go with it is a riot. _-me_ ---

First time we saw the movie, my jaw dropped, and stayed that way all through Uncle Fucker. My wife laughed so hard I thought she was going to pass out. It gave me a new slogan: “Swearing like a Canadian”. Sailors should be such potty mouths… 😃 Kyle’s mom’s a bitch _was_ my favorite before the movie… **…she’s a bitch to all the boys and girls…!** ---

The reason this was such a good movie was because the musical elements were taken absolutely seriously – judged as a movie musical, it was without doubt the best in the last several decades. The music was good, catchy, served the story, funny, at times heartfelt, and – most importantly – the songs were written so they fit together in the medley at the climax. And for God’s sake, you just can’t stop singing that song. –Cliffy, whose only regret is that the rap version of Uncle Fucka didn’t make the soundtrack ---
