1. Repeal, but don’t replace. 2. Blame Obama for ruining American healthcare with dirty socialism. 3. Profit. It’s probably a bad sign when one side cites white papers and government estimates for their plans and the other side says it’s either a secret or don’t worry, it’ll be tremendous, believe me folks, and the electorate goes with the second guy. ---

Easy answers that coincidentally align with their pre-existing beliefs, wants and values. All of the problems are due to problems caused by big government, non-whites, a lack of market capitalism, etc and there are easy, simplistic answers to all the major problems that have perplexed the smartest leaders and academics on earth that ‘they’ won’t let anyone implement. This last election cycle really turned me off populism. Not just Trump, but there were reports that Sander’s economic numbers didn’t add up. ---
