I remember when the roof of my parents’ house was replaced. The noise of the nailing was bad enough, but there was also the noise of the bundles of roofing materials being dropped on the roof after being carried up the ladders. I think the vibrations from that caused some of the tchotchkes in the living room to move. I can’t remember if any broke, but it’s something to be aware of.
