I really can’t think of _anything_ I’d want permanently inked onto my body. Which I guess is OK, 'cause I’d never get a tattoo. When I was 16 or so I thought it would be cool to get a little one on, say, the ankle or something, but was too wimpy–now I’m just as happy I didn’t give it more than a passing thought. Besides, at 16 I would have been certain to pick something lame. ---

At the Olympics in 2000, a few of us in the band kicked around the idea of getting tattoos of the five rings. We never did, though. Never had the time, what with all the practicing beforehand, and we didn’t have any free time afterwards. ---

Well, I decided that I’d get a tattoo for each book I get published. Heh. In one I’m nearly finished with, one character sort of forces the other character to get a tattoo of his initials. I had a friend design it for kicks and giggles, and it looks really great. So if that book gets published, I’ll get that particular tattoo (even though the initials don’t match my name or my husbands). For the second book I’ve finished, I’d get a bold **WANTED** , like on the old posters. There’s a third book as well, but I haven’t decided what to get for that, but if it’s published, I’ll think of something. ---

**CCL** , that’s a skull. It’s turned so it’s mostly cranium (brain pan? the big round part, anyway), but even I, the queen of obliviousness, can tell that it’s a skull. Once it’s pointed out to me, anyway. 😛 ---

I’ve had this idea for years, but I’ve never had the will to save up and have it done. On my shoulder, well-hidden by my shirt: A heart with a blank scroll, so I can write in whatever I want with a Sharpie when the mood strikes. Romantic: The name of whoever I’m involved with at the time (and hopefully she has a sense of humor about it). Or if not involved, “This Space For Rent, Call 555-555-5555”. Silly: Oh, the possibilities. “Cheese”, “The Moon”, “Etc.” Confrontational: “Your Mom” ---

I want the [Southern Cross](http://nzphoto.tripod.com/astro/asoutherncross.htm) (plus the epsilon star, as on the Australian flag), on either of my shoulder blades–where I won’t have to see it every hour. However, recently I saw some damnable popstar with the same tattoo, which has ruined the novelty somewhat. ---

I would get a nudibranch. It would be low on my hip, so covered unless I was swimming. Why don’t I get it? Because a nudibranch of the size I want it, would turn out looking like a blurry blob. ---

Don’t think I would ever get a tattoo, but if I did it would be either a single tat of crossed guitars - A Les Paul and a Strat, probably on my shoulder, or two tat’s - one of the guitars on a shoulder and the other someplace else like the opposite ankle. And yes, I know exactly which year, color and other trivia I would want for the guitars - they’d be based on the ones I play… ---
