# Non-NASCAR auto racing schedules

I happened to catch the last three minutes of a Gran Prix race the other day. I’m not a big racing fan. I’ve been to motorcycle races at Willow Springs, a CART race at Laguna Seca, and another CART race at the oval at Fontana. I enjoyed the motorcycle races most, since I am familiar with sportbikes. As for car races… Well, they’re somewhat fun.
I don’t like NASCAR racing. ‘Rednecks turning left’. Besides, NASCAR cars are typically Big American Cars. I like the finesse of sports cars. I also don’t care for ovals. I prefer hills and chicanes. I’d like to watch Grand Prix-type races. I like GTs.
When I subscribed to _TV Guide_ I could open the Sports section and see all of the races for the week. It was very easy to see what I was interested in, and what I wanted to avoid. But _TV Guide_ is too expensive for what it offers, and has too many ads. Now, I just use the guide on my cable. Unfortunately it’s not easy to use, and it takes a few seconds to update whenever you press a button. Also, I’m never sure which channels I can receive. Auto racing is just listed as ‘Auto Racing’, and you have to click on it to find out what _kind_ of racing it is. And when I use the menu and click on Sports, it’s not organised by sport, but by time.
Is there a website where I can find a comprehensive list of non-NASCAR autoraces such as Le Mans, Lime Rock, Sebring, etc.? (I’ve already missed the Long Beach Gran Prix, but it’s an open-wheel race anyway.)
