“We Burned the Christmas Tree” by Chaston and Groditski is about as non-traditional as you can get. If you can’t find it elsewhere, it’s on Amazon for $0.99. Or how about “I Want An Alien For Christmas” by Fountains of Wayne?

Mitch Benn has loads of excellent Christmas songs, although it’s hard to find some of them on the Intarweb:

“Call It Christmas” is a favorite and opens his [Christmas podcast](http://www.mitchbenn.com/podcasts/#) (partway down the list). There are also songs you may enjoy at about **4’00"** (“The True Meaning of Christmas” - about overeating), **10’35"** (“Anything for Christmas” - about his daughter), and **17’08"** (“Christmas Whether You Like It Or Not” - about grumpy people).
And “We Pretty Much Broke the Bank for You This Christmas” (about the post-Christmas bills) is another winner, although I can’t find it anywhere.

I mentioned this song in another Christmas song thread, but one of my favorites is Tinsley Ellis’ "Santa Claus Wants Some Lovin’ " on the Alligator Records Christmas album.
I also have a Christmas CD with songs by '50s and '60s groups - it has Chuck Berry’s “Run Run Rudolph” and a couple by the Beach Boys. But my favorite one on there is a song called “Merry Twist-mas”, sung in a sort of “Blue Moon” doo-woppy style.

I also like her song All Alone on Christmas though it’s not as good as Christmas (Baby Please Come Home).
