# None of the hints are working (for me)

My guess is the preview that comes up when you hover the pointer over a thread title.

True. calling them hints is a habit from programming with Borland’s C++ Builder.
and IE is Internet Explorer.

You may have something…
Over the past few days, at home and at work, when a page has appeared to finish loading there is something still loading because the progress bar at the bottom is not finished. It’s very distracting.
And just now I tried to add a smiley to a post. It wouldn’t let me (despite everything appearing to be in place) until that progress bar finished it’s work, so the problem might be to do with smileys.
