I used to live in Minneapolis and work in St. Paul, and the bus passed this Gehry every day, twice, (it sits right on the St. Paul side of the bridge over the Mississippi). I hate Gehry’s esthetic, but I have to admit that he’s pretty unique and instantly recognizable.
He is indeed instantly recognizable. If a building makes me feel a little sick to my stomach, chances are it’s a Gehry.
You’ll be glad to know that Gehry is involved in a proposed pair of ninety-storey towers in the Entertainment District in Toronto.
