I’m really worried about the recent episode of choke, since horses who’ve experienced that often have scarring in the esophagus, which makes them more prone to further episodes. Add that on top of his overall health problems and the stresses of the coming winter, and it really brings home how tenuous our future together is. I’ll do everything I can to keep him alive and happy, and the rest is in the hands of the Fates. ---
