You may not like that - and there have been plenty of Supreme Court decisions that I haven’t liked over the years - but by definition if the Supreme Court says so, that makes it legal. ETA: And to the OP, since Reagan didn’t die in office it’s obvious that not every president elected in a year ending in zero has died while in office. I know what you meant, but still… ---

Well, there’s still about an hour left, perhaps he could slip and fall and break his neck? Or someone tries to shoot Obama and he shields him with his own body because he knows that everyone loves Obama and if he saves his life his approval ratings will go up? ---

Biden is now VP, but Obama is not yet sworn in, so if anything happens to Bush during the music, Biden becomes the 44th President & Obama is 45th. UNLESS BIDEN DECLARES MARTIAL LAW AND DOESN’T LET OBAMA SWEAR IN! ---
