I started coloring my hair when I was 16. Didn’t have any gray; just hated brown. Now I’m 31, and secure in the knowledge that gray will never catch up to me. ---

I found a gray hair a few weeks ago. I’m only 22, so that’s worse than finding one at 25 ---

I first found a grey hair when I was 18 or so. Rather than bitch and moan, I just shaved it all off. Wait… you’re not talking about pubes, are you? 😃 ---

I had my first gray hair when I was six. I blame my dad and him forcing me to read the \* Wall Street Journal \* in his lap. (I’m 15 now and have at least 8 gray hairs.) ---

20 years ago I had three gray hairs. Now (at 46) I have four or five, and most people don’t notice them. One is nothing to have kittens over. ---

You know, when I first de-lurked (maybe a year ago or so…) I didn’t have any white hairs at all! Now, I have a few on my head, one on my chest, TWO on my **ah-hem** , nether regions… and a circle of maybe 20 on the left side of my goatee! It’s **Astrogirl** ’s fault!! I didn’t have ANY before I met her! She is the spawn of the devil. I am aged, and it is her fault!☹ (it was worth it, though!😃 ) ---

I first noticed a grey hair about two or so years ago when I was 27…and I was freaked out! I was like “agggh! mortality! waaah” that sort of thing. I promptly yanked it out and hoped no one would notice 😃 Now all this time later, I have some more grey hairs. Now they are getting too numerous to yank out, although you have to look very close to see them. My boyfriend took great pleasure in pointing out to me that I had grey hairs! “You’ve got grey hairs!” he cried happily. I was put out. He said I will look sexy with grey hair and when I was a bit displeased with his gleefulness he said “at least you’ve got hair”. True, I have hair, can’t argue with that! Actually I wouldn’t mind looking like Emmylou Harris. My boyfriend has not heard of her. So much for that cultural reference! Oh! and I could dye my hair wild colours like purple and blue and things like that-you just can’t dye it any colour when it is dark brown. So it isn’t so bad after all! yay.
