How do I get rid of the notification? Rejecting the request won’t take. ---

What conceivable difference does friending or unfriending someone on this board make? I can find absolutely nothing that is affected by it. ---

You can open up a contacts pop up that looks like an instant messenger applet showing you who is currently online and shows them as they log in and log off. Helps me (personally), know who and when posters I enjoy reading posts by are online. I have that contacts pop up open most of the time. It also allows for easy PMing, which I will sometimes do just to say a bit of a “hi” to random posters sometimes. Or othertimes, I’ll use it as a “I like your post here” PM or personal message aside comment to something they wrote in a public post. Many posters can attest on here of getting PMs from me just saying hi or some other random greeting. 🙂 ---

You know how it is these days. You can’t make assumptions about someone’s gender, especially on particular dates in early April.
