**Doob** and I are making a scouting trip up to SLO to see good places we can all hang out while we are up there. I am going to call Madonna Inn this week to see what kind of group rates they have, if any. I hope I am not too late. **SlackerGirl** , you have already made a bunch of phone calls to them, maybe I could get some info from ya. Could you email me if you aren’t too busy with the new job? I hope everyone is still excited about this whole idea. I know I am. So are plenty of the people I have talked to. Y’know, if I do the show at my college this summer, I won’t be able to go. Sorry, guys, but Theatre comes first. I’ll just have to send my brother to take pictures (although he’s not nearly as good a cameraman as I am). However, keep me on the mailing list… maybe something’ll turn up. ---

Yes! Yes! **Yes!** I’m still excited about this dopefest. I’m going to request that weekend off from work, start saving my nickles and dimes, and I’m going to drag along **Bryan** (possibly our most famous non-poster). I called the Madonna Inn this morning. The person I talked to said they had around 15 rooms available for that weekend. These rooms have 2 beds, but they cost 180 dollars a night. That isn’t bad if 4 people stay in them and split the fee. I guess we should come to a decision on whether or not many of us want to stay there, I think it would be fun. It is a kitschy little place - definite tourist trap. I have never stayed in any of the rooms, but the restaraunt and bathrooms are trippy, and I think staying in one of the rooms would be a fun experience. The Madonna Inn has a website it is : [http://www.madonnainn.com](http://www.madonnainn.com) It also has a toll free number it is: 1-800-543-9666 Let’s make a decision in the next couple of days on whether or not to stay here. If it is a no-go, I will start looking into other hotels in the area. I guess there is also the factor of some people staying here, and others staying at a different hotel, but that would be hectic with everyone moving around from one place to the other. Hey everyone, Pat and I would really like to know who is interested in getting a group rate at the Madonna Inn. The Inn is just south of SLO, and right off highway 101, so it’s not like it’s out in the boonies somewhere where a serial killer could kill us like in the Friday the 13th movies! But, i digress. Please people let us know who is interested to see if it’s even worth making the reservations (we really should know ASAP). ---

I’ll gladly stay at the Madonna Inn. I know some of the rooms are suites; Bryan & I will gladly share a suite with a few others. Besides, I think it’ll make a good ground zero for the weekend, since they do have a restaurant and lounge. ---
