Los Angeles “SOUTH BAY” area reporting in. Problem----I would need to hitch a ride with someone else from this area. SLO sounds like a plan. Any GO-CART fans here? We could ball-bust over to SANTA MARIA. My cousin is co-owner of the track there. BTW—looks like MORRO BAY (The Birds) is just about the same distance north from SLO as PISMO is south. LOL—I too confuse PISMO BCH. with PEBBLE BCH. ---

Any So. Cals. interested in taking the TRAIN up? Price of gas being what it is/is going to be, this could be an option. True; it would take LONGER. (8+ hrs from Diego to SLO.) ---

Other than that, the go-carts sound pretty wild. As for me, I’m still advocating a Sunday brunch in Solvang, the Danish capital of the United States. I shall repeat, **hand made chocolates, Danish pastries and decent smorgasboard** , what more could you want? For the Los Angelenos, it will be a mere detour on the way back home. There are also wineries in the Santa Ynez valley for some tasting fun as well. I’m even thinking of arriving Friday night to get a head start on things. Anybody up for a Friday rondezvous? ---

Bryan & I will most likely be there by Friday. (I just quit my job, so I’m not entirely sure what my schedule will be, but I’m going to make sure that I’ll be there). I was thinking about the possibility of a Saturday day trip to Hearst Castle. It’s about 30 minutes from SLO, and I’m sure there will be a few that would like to go. (I’ve never been, so I’d love to take a gander) ---
