# Norah Jones kicks ass.

I want to bring this thread back from the grave to ask a question:

That song. “Don’t Know Why.” Is it about, um, what I _think_ it’s about? In particular, “don’t know why I didn’t come,” is that more figurative or literal? Or to put it another way… ah, hell – is she singing about orgasms?

I pretty much skipped over all the hubub when the album was first released and then with all the Grammys and such. It didn’t sound like my kind of music, and the album cover threw me off – nobody that hot could possibly be talented; it would invalidate everything I believe about cosmic justice.

But a friend just gave me a CD with a couple of her songs on it last week. I went and bought the thing soon after that and have been listening to it nearly non-stop since then. She’s dreamy.
