So, we’re here. Actually, it seems to be only the NorCal people and boli and VBlaise and thinksnow. We eagerly await the arrival of the SoCal people tomorrow, if we are sober enough to figure out what is going on. (Not likely.)
This is **Snooooopy** breaking in. I am pretty chemically altered on rum ‘n’ Sprites. Yay!
**thinksnow** here, can you believe this friggin’ state doesn’t have _Stroh_?! Pisses me right off!
**Jack Batty** checking in, what the fuck is Stroh?!? There’s plenty of Miller Genuine Draft. Yeesh. I wanted Newcastle Brown Ale but all I brought with me is a keg of Mooch Lite.
**ts** again, yeah, but I’ve had to deal with Bacardi O instead. Not my fault you have no idea what the good stuff is. Ask **Dyno**.

I am so very saddened: there is no Stroh to be found! I would gladly share if it was around, but it’s not, so I’ve had to make due with Bacardi O…it’s okay, but it’s not _the stuff_.
Update: **Kyla** has been spinning on one of the bar stools in the hotel for the last coupla minutes…she’s feeling no pain.
**Valerie** is looking for something to drink and we’ve kicked everyone away from the porch, they were making a bit of noise and we didn’t want to piss off the neighbors, so they are bs-ing in the parking lot now. Crazy, crazy.

I had a wonderful time. Pat and I really pulled this ting off. But as to the drunkeness, i didnt see this thread while drunk, or else i probably would have tried to post. Got drunk as hell Friday night. Pat and I finished off: Meyer’s Rum, Bacardi O, Whiskey, and a bottle of Smirnoff vodka. Oy…didn’t wake up feeling much more than this constant sense of low level nausea in my stomach…ergo, i didnt drink saturday night (i didnt eat much that day either).

Well, since no one has really said much, I will give my short rendition of the weekend. I think **Kyla** has the official notes. 😉
Note: \* Alcohol severly degrades the quality of the magical memory cells. This is posted in as much as I can recall and reconstruct from my damaged brain.\*
**psy** and I got to SLO Friday afternoon and met **SlackerGirl** at the Madonna Inn. She had come down with **Thinksnow** and **kyla** a bit earlier and met up with **Pat, boli** and **Doob**. **SG, psy** and I got in the room first and opened all the closets and drawers, looking for drugs. The others had gone on a mission of great import: Alcohol. There were no drugs to be found, but the room was freaking awesome. I’ll post some pics later tonight but let me just say, this fest just wouldn’t have been the same without it. Mad props to **SG** for setting that up. The beer-runners returned soon and the bar was set up and the drinking commenced. **Snooooopy** followed soon after, then \*\* Kyla\*\* showed up. Next to show were **Jack Batty and Woodstockbirdybird**. Later, **SeaDiver and Valerieblaise** made it.
The 14 of us drank massive quantities of beer, liquor, Drano…whatever we could get our hands on. **Pat** segregated M&Ms. We went out to eat at the SLOBrew microbrewery and came back and drank like madmen all night. We got a bit loud, so we moved the party out into the parking lot, where much singing and laughter ensued. **boli** and I treated everyone to a rendition of “Santeria” and we all sang the theme song to The Facts of Life and a few others. **Woody** knows his beer. **boli** was more enchanting than ever. She knows all about “weergins” and 80’s stuff. **Sea** was sweet, sensitive and the girliest girl of girlyville. **Doob** kept saying, “Dude, this is the best I’ve ever felt!” I don’t remember much after that, but around 3am **psy** and I took off for our hotel, even though the partying lasted a few more hours. Basically, think of a bunch of people doing the old, “I LOVE you, MAN!” thing.
The next morning, we got up super-early. Around 11:30 or so. We called the Pick & Shovel room and no one was there, not even Debrah. As we were going to go to breakfast, **Shayna, Mauvaise, Mercutio, Strainger and Scotti** showed up at our hotel. **Strainger** called the others on his cell and we hooked up for breakfast. **Shayna** made the grave mistake of asking the waitress whether they served Pepsi or Coke. The nerve of some people, I swear. We all headed back to the Madonna and partied it up for a while waiting for the others to show.
As the day wore on, and the alcohol flowed freely, **zyzzyva, Rasa and Virtee** showed up. **Rasadasa and Virtee** are cute as hell together, even though I’m pretty jealous of **Rasa**. When you see the pics of **Virtee** , you’ll understand. Wowza. The Queen of Smoking, **Valerie** , brought a throne outside the door and christened it the official smoker spot. She stayed in her jimmies until 4:59. Around 5 we headed to the restauraunt where we met up with **obfusciatrist, Monster104, PurdWerfect, Domina, Wevets and** …and, well, I hope I’m not forgetting anyone. The restaurant was perfect. The waitstaff was fast, friendly and efficient, the patio was gorgeous and the food was excellent. More mad props out to **Doob and Pat** for setting this whole thing up. Might I recommend the fish tacos? We all ate, talked and took pictures of each other and **Monster** jazzed on me more than once. **Domina** is a hottie to be reckoned with, only in a sophisticated way, with a sexy, raspy deep voice and… I’ll say no more on that. **Merc** is a riot. I still can’t believe he’s only ten years old! **Purd** is a gentleman and a scholar and I want to take **kyla** ’s dad to bed someday. I, personally, missed out on **Wevets** , but he was very polite and funny from what I saw. I think it was **Rasa** who supplied the nametag and **Pat** passed everyone notes. Luckily the teacher didn’t read them in front of the class.
After dinner we all headed back to the Madonna and got drunk and…LOUD. **Snoop** died on the red couch and **obfus** tried to teabag him. **Scotti** showed her true self and tried to convince us that she had the capability to get mad. She was not convincing. She hugged me BUNCHES and not you, so nanny-nanny boo boo! **ts** cooled off his nuts on the metal bar-stool. **Shayna** got voted best laugh. We were loud. So loud, in fact, that the police were called and security told us to leave. This was shortly after **Jack** took his pants off and danced on the coffee table for a dollar. I’d like to interject here that **Slacker** is a saint, the way she dealt with all that. Even up to the end she was very polite. I would have kicked all of our asses! Anyway, thanks again for handling that with patience and class. The Madonna was the best! Most of the group headed over to the bar at the Madonna where we sat in big, funky, red chairs and sipped drinks like civilized people. All good things must come to an end and sadly, closing time came. We lost about half the group around 2 am. Then the fun started.
**O M G!**
We couldn’t figure out what to do, so we drank in the parking lot for a while. **Jack** ’s pint glass is still in the back of my truck. **Scotti** hugged me bunches even more! (aww yeah). We headed downtown and found a dance club. Head count: **psy, boli, Doob, Pat, Jack, obfus, kyla, Strainger, Sea and I** were present. **Sea** treated us to shots and most of us shook our bon-bons for an hour or so. I was one sweaty bastard by the time we were done, so I had to drink some beer. You know how much I hate beer. After we closed that place down, we drank in the parking lot some more and then headed to the beach. It was fricking cold, so we all huddled on a blanket and cuddled and drank beer. Some girl with an English accent came over asking if anyone knew how to use a “zip”. **psy** , recalling her days in the barrio, fighting with the stinkin’ PRs automatically ducked, think she meant a “zip” gun. **Strainger** managed to grab **Jack, Pat and my** asses all at the same time but, boy, were his hands warm. It felt good. The police came to arrest us for drinking on the beach but he was so enchanted with us, even after **Jack** tried to hide his beer, that all he did was dump our beer and warn us. What a saint! Listen to this part: **Fucking obfus took his shoes and shirt off and went swimming in the freezing cold, riptide-infested water!!!** He is way more of a man than all of the other men on this board combined, I swear. Fearing hypothermia and lacking beer, we headed back to **psy** and my room and cuddled on our bed. I’d just like to say that **Strainger** is now the official Straight Dope Playah! He rules! All single men, everywhere, should look up to this guy. After everyone got sand in our bed, and I tried to teabag **Jack** , we headed back to the Madonna to drop everyone off. The partying went on well into the evening, but **psy** and I did not partake. We are wussies.
One more round of IHOP and the weekend was over, more’s the pity. I had the most amazing time and I love you all. Except for **Doob** , because he is a gay sinner and a lush. I want to do it all over again and it sucks being home now. I miss you guys. Let’s do it again….soon!

Wow, Demo covered it pretty well. I don’t have the notes, though, **thinksnow** does. And he won’t get home til early tomorrow, so it’ll be a while. I nominate **zyzzyva** for best quote, though!
Everyone is awesome, and when I grow up I am going to be just like **VBlaise**. I am so glad that she, **boli** , and **thinksnow** flew in.

Wow. wow. wow.
What a fun weekend. What an amazingly cool group of people.
We definitely have got to do this again soon.
Special thanks to slackergirl for arranging the room, pricciar and Doob for arranging the Official Dinner, Shayna for clearing my sinuses, SeaDiver for massaging my ears, thinksnow for pulling me out of the bushes, and everyone else for being bad ass mofos, particularly obfus. Oh, and Mercutio for showing us all the way to Monster’s heart.
This weekend totally rocked out with it’s cock out.
