_Ring-ring_ Hello, Ootback? Yes. I’d like to reserve a couple of table Aug. 26 right next to the harbor… Outside’s perfect! Right next to the damaged-and-rickety-but-you-can-barely-tell safety railing? Outstanding! OK, I need you to put a wobbly chair right next to it. I’ll fax you all the names which will go on the chairs, but the wobbly one MUST be reserved for “Amy.” Can do? Neat-o. There’s a saw buck in it for you my man! ---

_ring ring_ Hell, Ootback? I heard that someone just called about the party coming in on the 26th? Well, I need a couple of favors. One, I need that name on the chair switched to “Sailorboy.” No problem? Great. Second, I need you to do a little something special for the decor. Any way you can put a smiley face tablecloth down? And a nice smiley face place setting at that chair? You can?? Great!! Double sawbuck for you if you pull this off…you can? Wonderful. We’ll be there at 6 on the 26th. _click_ _raises eyebrow_ Just remember, Chief…anything you can do I can do better. 😉 ---

Uggghhhh! Knock off the sweetness and light already! It’s hurting me! Ok, by now everyone should have their hotel reservations and whatnot. Let’s get the last-minute confirmations and “oh shit, I can’t make it” list going. I for one will be there, no bells on. 😃 ---

This just bites. Bunch of people I want to meet, meeting less than two hours from my house, even my HUSBAND’S going…and I’m gonna be in freakin’ California. Well, I get to meet VV and _possibly_ even touch the face of GaWd, so all of y’all can bite me. \ ---

I am at the some HoJo as Satan is. Leigh-Anne and I will be driving down early, like leaving Alexandria at 9-ish, and would love to socialize beforehand with interested Dopers. Sightseeing, drinks, lunch, whatever, post to the thread or e-mail one of us. ([pldennison@yahoo.com](mailto:pldennison@yahoo.com), [la\_peta@yahoo.com](mailto:la_peta@yahoo.com)) ---

Aye, aye. Consider this my final verification. **aenea** – “I for one will be there, no bells on”… but on her knees. **Falcon** – “You in?” Not yet, but I hope to be soon.
