# North NJ, East PA Dopers.

I moved out to NJ about a year ago. I currently living in Mercer County, which is probably in the 40-45 minute range from your job. If you don’t mind the commute, the area likely fits your criteria. Take a quick look at Plainsboro and Lawrenceville.

Plainsboro  
Plainsboro and West Windsor share a school district and the schools are nationally recognized.

From a culture perspective, there isn’t much, but the town makes up for this by being 15-20 minutes to culturally rich princeton and 30 minutes from artys lambertville/new hope.

Lawrenceville  
Lawrenceville has its own school district and it has a good reputation. Not the reputation of the Plainsboro-West Windsor schools though.

From a cultural perspective, it shares the same proximity to culturally rich areas.

From a crime perspective, due to it being 7-10 miles from Trenton, the crime is probably higher than plainsboro.
