If a kid’s going to be teased, he’s going to be teased no matter his name. Commenting on celeb names might be fun, but I tend even when it comes to celebs to apply this rule: When I learn the name of an infant, my job isn’t to judge the name, but to welcome the infant into the world. Having said that, I am the opposite of bothered by any of these names. Apple, especially, seems perfectly unobjectionable. Nice, even. ---

Of course, genocide is a crime and a relevant factor for all humans to be aware of and pass judgment on, while a baby’s name is really only a matter for the parents and the baby. And also not a crime. ---

Eh, a kid named North will probably receive less then 1% of the teasing a kid named “Richard” is going to get based on their name. But I doubt people would be freaking out if they named their kid Richard (well, other then the fact that it’s a girl, but you get my point). Anyways, North is a perfectly crommulant name. ---
