Northern European flights grounded

What I don’t get is, why is my early morning commuter train, which also goes to Sweden, and usually almost empty, still completely overcrowded? I understand Friday and maybe Saturday, but still? None of the theories I can come up with make sense.

  1. These people usually commute to Sweden by plane at 7 every morning (makes no sense whatsoever) and are now taking the train.

  2. Everyone who got stuck here is leaving by the 7 train only, and leaving the other trains alone (no sense either).

  3. People keep coming to Norway by means undisclosed, with plans made while the crisis was in progress, getting stuck, and leaving by train.

  4. Random people suddenly desperately want to go to Sweden, and the train is crowded for unrelated reasons.

I just don’t get it. Why are these people still here? What is going on? And can you all please leave by the 8 o’clock instead and stop messing up my morning nap?

Here’s one: People stuck at the airport decide to take a side trip to Sweden while waiting on the volcano.
