I’ve never seen any northern lights.
I’m too close to the city to really be able to see anything, I guess. Oh well.
I’ll just have to go work up in NWT for a while to get a good look.

The northern lights do occasionally get down that far:
You can get alerts about astronomical stuff at http://spaceweather.com/ by email. Very cool, even if we were socked in by fog the night they were supposed to be great.
I remember the northern lights in Alaska and northern BC and they were awesome.
Actually, I’m up just a teensy bit further north than that. “Maury Al” is my own little twist on “Montreal.” Sorry about the confusion!
But, even being as near to the polar latitudes as I am, I haven’t ever seen the Aurora Borealis.
There’s got to be some advantages to living up north.
