Here how it’s go: Some of you had asked about a prediction from Nostrodamus. This is the direct quote. Mind you, I’m not saying I believe in this or not, but the parallels are kind of eerie. Peace, El Poeta. “In the year of the new century and nine months, From the sky will come a great King of Terror… The sky will burn at forty-five degrees. Fire approaches the great new city…” “In the city of york there will be a great collapse, 2 twin brothers torn apart by chaos while the fortress falls the great leader will succumb third big war will begin when the big city is burning” - NOSTRADAMUS He said this will be bigger than the previous two. 2001 is the first year of the new century and this is the 9th month. New York is located at the 41st degree Latitude. Can you tell me if this is real or not? ---

I read that as well. Must be going around a lot. I am no believer of Mr. N., his predictions of Hitler seemed extremely vague, but this seems close to target. I am curious if this is a recent translation, or a re-translation, much like Matthew did with old testament prophesies. ---

This is as good place as any to recommend **James Randi** s excellent book, The Mask of Nostradomus. Then those of you who are superstitious can sleep well again at night. ---

If someone said that something was in the Bible and you doubted it, you would ask for Book, Chapter and Verse, right? Nostrodamus’ writings broken down into Centuries and Quatrains. Ask your source to identify what Century and Quatrain this latest prediction is from. They can’t. Nostro never said anything like this, even given translations and obscure medieval imagery. Snopes is the premier site for clarifying this sort of thing. ---
