I work facilities maintanence. To clear a toilet I prefer using what is called a bull or toilet snake. And I always flush a wad of Tp several times to besure it will not replug.
something like a ink pen dropped down a toilet can cause troubles. With each flush some paper will collect on the pen until enough has collected to cause a plug.
the bull snake is a large open auger. It will grab the pen and break it so it can be pulled back.
Also if you have a low flush toilet that could be your problem.
On one type the handle is pushed down to the first stop for pee and you have to push to the final stop and hold for 2 seconds for solids. And a lot to the low flush toilets do not like much paper.
Here’s a tip that might be helpful. Do you spend a lot of time on the toilet, then flush it all at once? While you’re sitting there the poop is in the cold water, getting cold and less flexible. If you flush while it’s still warm it will go down more easily. And of course it will go down more easily if you don’t flush it all at once.

Just don’t let any head doctors see it though, no telling what Freud say about carry around poo in a ziploc, though I am sure it would not be good
