5 – in order, the numerals correspond to the letters in the name of each successive number (one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight). Oops, then the seventh digit should be “5”. My error or yours?

_Strength_ is one. I can think of several others that qualify by _Wheel of Fortune_ rules (“y” always being a consonant) – _stretchy_, _splotchy_, _scratchy_, and _slightly_, for example. Is this cheating?

Tapioca-Near enough with tampons. It’s Tampax. The palace has been solved. All the rest correct(I’m assuming you mean the hand of God goal and not some divine manifestation of his arm :))
Sternvogel-Qatar’s correct(I had it as purple and white). The number sequence is right and it’s my mistake. That bad 5 somehow became a 7 when I wasn’t looking.
The one-vowel words are correct-yeah you can use Y.Your Roman Catholic one is wrong. 🙂 The rest are all correct
