yes **Tapioca** - I’m glad you brought that up. Captain Nemo rode the “Nautilus” **20,000 Leagues Under the Sea".**
Wow - that’s deep !!!
It dwarfs the Marianas Trench by comparison don’t you think?

Sorry, what? I had my headphones on.

In 1940, for four minutes, students at Yale laid 100 pretzels on the moon to spell out “Mariana”.

Not if it brought all the girls who went to Yale’s prom in 1960. Once. For twenty minutes.

Where’s JohnDM when you need him? This surely has something to do with the Pyramids, Masons, Jack the Ripper, Chandra Levy, the statue on top of the Capitol building, aliens, and the moon landing.

Can we unban him for 20 minutes in the 1960s?

My mother had a [Jello cookbook](http://www.lileks.com/institute/gallery/jello/16.html) featuring a cake with a salty glaze. It cooked at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. But that cookbook was published in the 1960s.

[Cite](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marianas_Trench).

If no one has visited the place since 1960, you can’t prove the WMDs weren’t dumped off a big old Iraqi navy vesel two or three weeks ago, can you?

So Walsh was a lieutenant\*, but Piccard wasn’t a CAPTAIN?

(Man, I can’t believe none of the _Star Trek_ geeks beat me to that one!)

And **Ilsa** , an orgy involving all the Yale co-eds in 1960 would have been pretty pathetic, as Connecticut’s Ivy League university didn’t go fully coeducational until 1969. [Cite.](http://www.britannica.com/eb/article?tocId=9077745) Heh, '69…

I think it has to be spread on the earth’s _land_ surface, and it only has to stay there for 20 minutes. Someone already did this, back in 1960 if I’m not mistaken.
