This just in…the Clintons are going to return some $34,000.00 worth of furnishings that they “swiped” by mistake, from the White House. Gee…this really changes my opinion of the Clintons…they are really “stand up” folks now! I wonder what else they might have to return? ---

He is merely taking advantage of a perq that has been used by all the most recent presidents. I agree that it’s really nervy to acquire taxpayer subsidized office space in one of the highest rent areas of the nation, but that’s beside the point. We’ve created a system where it is perfectly legal for him to do so. Because the idiots who drafted this sweet little presidential retirement package apparently didn’t bother to put in a SPENDING CAP. So pout at Clinton if you want. But the BLAME has to be shared by the legislators. They should know better than to rely on anyone’s integrity. Because, unfortunately, the Jimmy Carters of the world are few and far between. ---

Bill Clinton is a slimy motherfucker with no respect for the country, servicemen, or the law. He’s entitled to his office, his pardons, his gifts but it shows his real character in the way he left office. He spit in the face of his own justice department and those hostages held in Iran. He has no love for the country, only his ego. His own party is starting to revolt. His legacy will be Paula Jones, blowjobs, impeachment, and pardoning fugitives. He is pure white trash. I saw a piece in The Onion where he “was despondent over the lack of assination attempts on him” because all the great ones had their lives threatened. I know it was satire but I wouldn’t doubt for a minute that it’s true. He came out the way he came in. What perfect bookends on a pathetic president. ---

IIRC, there were two assassination attempts on Clinton.[sub]1[/sub] Hell, one guy even crashed a freaking _plane_ into the White House.
