How quickly we choose to forget history. During the FIRST election in Egypt, every new political party was allowed to run their own person, I think there were a dozen or so candidates. None of them received 50% or more of the votes, so they had to have a SECOND election between the two top vote-getters, the MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD or MUBARAK CRONY. Hell of a choice, have your mother’s head chopped off or have your own head chopped off. It’s like voting between Hitler and Stalin. I do think Hussain el’Obama inspired the Arab Spring … although “the most beautiful woman in the whole world”, Hillary Clinton, deserves sainthood for her part in these events. ---
