Went to the eye doctor yesterday and he said my eyes looked good. The lenses they put in were where they belonged and all that. Yay! Went and saw [Ty Curtis](https://www.youtube.com/user/thetycurtisband) last night. It was good. Our maters were late coming on, but now we have so many I’m gonna roast a bunch of 'em with other veg today, and later we’ll make marinara to go in the fridge for this winter. 😃 **Mom** , inexplicable rashes are the worst. Hope the doc can help you. Get better **Butters and ButterHubs**. And everybody else. Dinner tonight will be boneless pork loin chops with steamed cabbage. I might make some applesauce to go with if I feel like it and have the time. ---

I stopped on the way home and bought my winning powerball ticket. Once we get the finances sorted out, I’ll plan the mega-MumpFest. 🆒 Meanwhile, I built a couple of meatloaves. One in the freezer, one for tomorrow. The lathe-buyer is here right now -they’re trying to figure out how to get it into his truck. I had to close the curtains because Higgs was barking like a little idiot. In fact, I just peeked out, and it appears they had success. Healing thoughts (sterilized of my rash) headed to the **Butters**! Sick sux!! Glad tomorrow is my Firday. Gladder still that Saturday is **BooFae** Fest! 😃 ---

Back from the doc. Got a cortisone shot, 10 days of Augmentin, cough meds and note to stay home the rest of the week. I for sure am staying home tomorrow but we shall see about Firday. Told y’all I was sick. Main thing is a sinus infection but the dizziness is the ears and throw in bronchitis for good measure. I forced myself to drop off the script and go to the grocery for foods to see me through a day or two. Got some skinless, boneless thighs on to boil now for chicken and rice. ---

Howdy Y’all! The broccoli/beef/carrot/onion/garlic ummm… stew turned out good. It was served over rice. I have also assisted two friends with filling out and printing out renewal forms for their passports. I love them both dearly but they are ditzes. Sisters as well. Apparently ditzyness is genetic. 😃 ETA: **Butters** hope Mr. Butters and you are better soonest. Hope the rash turns out to be a minor thing **MOOOOOOM**. ---

Golden Corral will do in a pinch, but they try to drown it in Ketchup, which I don’t care for. Got to work with four 4 and 5 year old girls tonight (no rain). I tell you what, teaching someone who you have to be careful not to step on and who may come out of nowhere just to give your leg a hug is…oddly pleasing. Going to enjoy this. Awake at 0430 on the day I could sleep in? It’s a sick joke. Walked the dog and it is pure steamy out. Frogs were croaking. It looks like we may be in for a day or two of rain. I shan’t say it I think I feel a scooch better already. Still staying home today to rest. My house is a disaster area so it would not hurt to do a little pick up around here and a couple loads of laundry. ---

Happy - what is today? Thorsday! It’s only 62 degrees outside, and today’s high will be 78. Good day to open the windows and air out the house. Up too early again this morning. Nothing went as planned yesterday. Like it ever does. I’m kind of pissed at the grocery store. They still haven’t fixed the billing screw up. Everytime I try to order groceries the website sends me to a different store than the one I have been using. I have hit the option over and over for the store I’ve been using as being the default store, and everytime I log in they try to send me to a different store. They also need to get the groceries grouped properly, even when I choose to go in by catagory everything is mixed together and it makes it hard to compare prices. Then to make it worse, the site didn’t hold on to my shopping cart like it used to if I closed it mid-shopping. Now I have to start over. The text books were over $500, and if one of them hadn’t been used they would have been over $600. Today is grocery pickup day, and the lawn needs to be mowed, again. **BUtters** - I hate augmentin. I had to take it once and it made me sicker than I already was. I hope you feel better. **MetalMouse** - you must have the patience of a saint. **Nettie** - there are more than a few days in which I curse whoever thought to give me only two middle fingers. \*\*MetalMouse \*\*- I don’t exactly have a meatloaf recipe. The current batch is ground beef, eggs, bread crumbs, chopped onion, worcestershire, salt, and a few drops of tabasco. Other times, I might use BBQ sauce. Or ketchup. I might throw in some garlic powder. Or rice. It all depends on what’s at hand and what my mood is. I couldn’t even specify amounts - more like “That looks like enough…” I remembered to set an alarm to remind me to go to the doc. Otherwise, I’d risk working thru the morning and forgetting. Oh, and I wasn’t in Watertown, MA recently, so I didn’t have the winning ticket. In fact, I had only 1 number out of 5 tickets. Dammit. And I was going to do so many good deeds!!! Happy Thursday anyway. ---

The big plan today is mowage which I shall get started with as soon as there is enough daylight. ICK! Dindin shall be fried chikin strips and sallit with cheesey bread.
