If I have learned anything from the movie Idiocracy, it is that poor people with limited education somehow find ways to have sex without paying for it. It’s quite clear that the problem here is not that lack of money stops men from getting with girls. It is that behavioral issues (perhaps depression, maybe personality disorders, perhaps just not being an interesting and friendly person) are virtually always the reason that someone can’t find a voluntary companion. The OP would be wise, and most likely much more happy in general, if he concentrated on identifying his behavioral issues, rather than fixating on things like sex and disposable income. ---

I do think if you are spending HALF your take home pay on hookers that’s an addiction. I don’t spend half my take home pay on anything except maybe rent, and I admit, I have a filthy addiction to having a place to live. ---

Yakuza is making an assumption about women, and is suggesting that we are all the same. “I know that just about every girl dosen’t want a guy like me” is just poor self image. He cannot judge every woman on the planet, and many women I know, who are financially independent decide who they want to be with, for reasons other than economic. Even though he defends escorts (and I have no problem with escorts, as I know they have a necessary job to do in our society),Yakuza does not think much of women, or he views them as one dimensional beings, and all after the same thing. “Men gotta have the money 2 go along with the looks” statement is very telling. What about character, personality, etc.? Most men in my family do not make a great deal of money, yet they have good wives, who work together with them - a team. Yakuza’s escort solution is a good way for him to go further in the hole financially, when he might be better off dealing with his self esteem issues, and changing his distorted view of women. ---
