She puts you on the spot with: “What do you think of \_\_\_\_\_'s hair?” (who is right there) You hope they were just saying how AWFUL it looks short, then think that’s too honest, so settle for “it will grow out again, I guess”. Later, when she cuts off two years’ growth of her own hair, and you’re stunned, she says “But you said you LIKED \_\_\_\_'s haircut!” ---

Holding up two different outfits, one in each hand, and asking: “Which one do you think I should wear tonight, honey? No, really. Which one do I look best in?” I learned. The hard way. Never, _never_, **never** ask hubby this question again. :rolleyes: ---
