My new wife was my girlfreind at the time  
I talked to a attorney , i misunderstood the agrement and it was supposed to be on me

Insuring your kids lives makes no sense. None at all. You do realize that you didn’t have to agree to everything they thought up. Sounds like you got taken to the cleaners in your divorce.

You need to re-read the thread. He misunderstood the divorce agreement. The policy was supposed to be on him not the kids. Cost-wise he probably made out better than if he had to put a policy on himself as an adult male vs 2 kiddie policies.
