Is Nader even on the ballot there?

C-SPAN’s site doesn’t say so, but I’m not going to pretend it’s infallible.

Those aren’t counties. They’re cornfields.

All the pundits are now talking about what Kerry did wrong. Looks like it’s over.

Wow, I never would’ve thought, Sure looks like Bush takes it.

Next question: Is Kerry going to concede tonight, or is he going to attempt to launch a round of lawsuits?

This is an open forum so people should post what the like, where they like. California sure looks close as well. Still Kerry but Bush may do very well there. Wins both the EC and the PV.

[B[Loch\*\* buddy we know what you’re saying, and I’m not saying you’re wrong.
But the winners can’t bitch about the officiating, at least not IMHO 😉

That being said…hey dude it was a hell of a fight.
People the world over gotta at least admit one thing. **Them fucking Americans…(whether you like them or not) They will fucking fight for what they believe in!** How the fuck do you think we made it. good or bad gad-dammit we’re gonna stand up and be counted. hoo-rah semper fi and all that good shit!

Now for my own apology and sentiment. I’m sorry to y’all if Bush winds up as POTUS I didn;t vote for the SOB…but make no mistakes. This is where I live…this is where my family lives and this is where my friends live. and BYGOD I’m gonna support my family and friends. and I’ll try to support y’all to…we may not be perfect god dammit but we ain’t evil.

There’s just a lot of scared folks around here and they can’t see what is happening unless it’s in front of their faces. Even then sometimes they’re just gonna go with their gut. BUT ain’t NONE of 'em out to get y’all. You just gotta understand what it’s like to be an American. It ain’t easy sometimes.
I still believe the world is a better place because the USA exists. We’re just going through a civil war and hopefully we’ll survive. Keep the faith and support US for a change. regards t/k

That’s fantastic. When you want to, feel free. If that’s your priority right now, then I don’t know if I feel sorrier for you or for our country.

He needs to be a man and bow out. It’s clear who this country wants for President.

One thing is for sure, Zogby lost a lot of credibility tonight. His loss.

Some of the remaining states that looked good for Kerry an hour ago are trending towards Bush. IA, WI, NV could go for Bush. They’re all very close.

Nope. For the past four years, I have listened to the majority of this board tell me that Bush was evil, that he couldn’t possibly win, and in the face of that I have steadfastly maintained that he would. I posted a thread announcing that Bush had won LAST YEAR. Through it all, this collection of left-leaning posters assured each other that they were right, that all correct-thinking people agreed, and that somehow there were hordes of cell phone users screwing up the polls. Every time I’d suggest that reasonable people could disagree, someone would come along and call me evil, selfish, or stupid.

I believe that the events of tonight should open the eyes of the left: you are marginalized and getting more so. As long as your party continues along this path, you will continue to lose.

No shutting up for me. I’ve had to take it here for the past four years. Now it’s your turn.
