Interesting, I wish I knew you in 1986-87 then. I was a light user of WordStar and remember fumbling through the find/replace. I would say it was far from user friendly. Maybe the version that ran on Zenith XTs was clunkier.

No, I think that Zenith XT’s were just crap. (Had one myself. Stupid POS.)
Apple Lisa, maybe. But no portrait orientation for the monitor. My brainfart, possibly. This was post-divorce, hence all the confusion.
WordStar on an Apple II was my first experience with a word processor and I was simply amazed at the time (because I was a lousy typist).
Well, this is certainly a weird hijack.
Hush, my knuckles still ain’t healed from the rapping they got over the bible hijack.
I saw the NOVA program and, I’m sorry, I guess I have to be the lone voice of dissent here among all the embarrassing fawning over an obviously biased documentary.
I was very disappointed and disgusted there were no spaghetti monster references at all, not one, throughout the entire program!! Am I the only one who was floored by this slight? I watched in rapt anticipation throughout all the courtroom reenactments, the interviews with the ID proponents and opponents, and listened intently to the commentary. I even went back and reviewed some of it again…just to be sure, but nope, there was absolutely no reverential mention of His Noodly Appendages. None! What, are we in the dark ages here?
You people make me SICK!
I’m moving to Canada.
You could move to Baltimore for your FSM fix. Obey your noodly master.
I’ve also noticed recently some defacing on the “Marriage Works” Billboards (some campaign by someone who wants to keep marriage “holy”).
On one, they wrote over “works” with “sucks”.
And, on another, they spray-painted “gay” across the chest of the groom.
I love living here.
He’s mentioned on their discussion boards. (Don’t look at any of the other threads if you’re on medication to regulate your blood pressure. The titles of many of them are enough to send you to the ER.)
