I have never been an avid reader. Most of what I read growing up were sports books. I have read two “classics”, Lord of the Flies, and Catcher in the Rye. I am more into biographies now.

The question is: Are there some novels out there that I should consider “must reads”? I would appreciate any suggestions, and also a reason why you think I should read the novel you suggest.

Thanks!
