My point is not that the perceived catastrophic sequellae of global warming are legitmately proximately caused by bush’s policies; merely that the perception raises the pr stakes substantially for his fuck you attitude. let me rephrase the query: 1. has the world at large a greater than normal interest in the outcome of the Nov. 06 elections? 2. Is impeachment not essential in order to truncate the career of the elephant runj amok? 3. Will, ought, foreign governments help our opposition as we assisted the Ukrainians, etc. 4. Where is our “bullshit revolution?” (We will dip our finger in cow manure as we exit the polling booth, to signify our heroics. It will, however,not be our forefinger…) ---

I seem to remember unpleasantnes connected with Johnny Chung, vis-a-vis the presidency, but on the other hand, Israel has no qualms about mobilizing domestic fundraising on one side or the other–I really don’t know how the law or media would regartd an out and out slush fund of the sort we put at the disposal of the sundry democratsofthemonth that bush so loves to exalt. ---
