Yep, that’s a very good point. The Cybertruck was unveiled in 2019. By the time it hits the market it will be a four or five year old truck, after an awful lot of very cool EVs will have arrived from other manufacturers. ---

It shames me to think that if Back to the Future were made today the time machine would be a Cybertruck. An overhyped (but instantly recognizable) stainless steel vehicle built by a nutjob with too much money and drugs for his own good? It fits too perfectly. P.S. if Marty McFly went back in time today he’d be a Gen Z twerp going back to 1993 to make sure his Gen X parents fell in love. ---

Mostly it started 3 years ago when he didn’t want to shut down or stall production at his factories. Can’t have something like a global pandemic getting in the way of production, dontcha know? A major reason he likes shifting things to Texas, where worker safety and public health take a back seat to profits. Just deny reality and keep the assembly lines going. ---

I don’t know why anyone would be particularly concerned about getting spasms and seizures from a COVID vaccine when, according to one of the nuts quoted in the article, noted conspiracy theorist and quack Dr. Rashid Buttar will fix you right up, good as new. In fact, better than new, because if you have autism or cancer, the good doctor will fix that, too. Elmo probably has the guy on speed dial, just in case. ---

O.k. I was sitting in a parking lot (waiting for my sister…I tweaked my knee and not walking more than needed). I was sitting there for about 10 mins watching what was in my view. An old guy walks up with two weights in his hands. His car was one car to the right in front of me, and I had had an unobstructed view of it all this time. He walked up and pushed one end of the door handle to open the door. So, I looked for a logo to see what kind of car it was. It was a Tesla. First, do Teslas have fingerprint security? And I was looking at it for a while, and it looked like 90% of the other cars in the lot. Not a standout style-wise to me.
