$6.5 billion is lower than any valuation Twitter has had since it went public in 2013, and about a tenth of the all-time high market cap in 2021. Edit: Well, this is just Fidelity assigning a value to its stake in Twitter, not the entire value of Twitter, so if you add in Elon’s valuation of infinity dollars then it balances out. ---

In the interest of fairness, two points; 1. This isn’t a survey of most hated brands - it’s a survey of the reputation of the 100 most recognized brands in America, and Twitter rated #97 - so they’re the fourth worst in the group surveyed, but there could theoretically be more hated brands that didn’t make the list of 100 most recognized. 2. They actually did better than last year, when they were #98. That being said - agile winning-hearts-and-minds! ---
