[Australia’s online safety watchdog said on Monday it had fined X — the social media platform formerly known as — 610,500 Australian dollars ($385,000) for failing to fully explain how it tackled child sexual exploitation content.](https://abcnews.go.com/Technology/wireStory/australian-safety-watchdog-fines-social-platform-385000-tackling-104003404) They’re also warning Google for the same thing. I’m pretty sure some of those jobs Elon cut were responsible for this sort of thing. Oh well. Musk’s a genius, he’ll figure it out. /s ---
