I’ve been rewatching “The Simpsons” and when the Canyonero commercial came on and it said “The only truck endorsed by a clown” my first thought was Musk. And then the “unexplained fires are a matter for the courts”, I literally LOLed and thought “My god, it IS the cybertruck!” ---

I can picture ads that extoll its other virtues: unbreakable windows that break, impractical stainless steel body that repels tommy-gun bullets in case you ever go back in time to the early 1930s and get into a gun battle with rum-running mobsters, and an overall design that is so incredibly, offensively ugly that your mind struggles to make sense of it. That’s our Elmo! The Tesla Model S was actually quite an elegant looking car when it was first introduced, though it has since become a bit dated. I can only assume from this that Elmo left the major design decisions to competent minds, but has had a really major direct involvement in the design of the Cybertruck. The level of idiocy is usually a good indicator of how closely Elmo is involved. ---

It makes me think of when I had shop class in high school and realized the day before a project was due that I forgot to do it, and so just kind of half-assed it all in a half hour. It’s like that happened to someone, but they had to make a vehicle. ---
