It looks like a poor imitation of some '80’s custom shop exotic cars made by some lone home garage hero, poorly designed, executed and barely functioning. That it comes from one of the biggest car companies in the world just boggles the mind. But then, so does Musk. ---

Well, yes, one is a tool that functions well, and there is little doubt the appropriate amount of engineering has gone into its design and manufacture. The other is a giant ugly metal box on wheels (plus a battery or something) ---

Now _that_ is a purty dumpster! Such clean lines, such well placed decals. The proportions are superb. Looks fast just sitting there. Plenty of trunk room for hauling all your possessions, even the outsized ones. Judging from what we can see of the lift slots, their gussets, and the lids’ hingework, the fit and finish are best in class. ---
