I just need to point out that if you have ever owned a dog, you have to recognize that that toothpaste is not coming out of the “right” spot. ---

They do indeed have 1.3 million followers on the platform, and it looks like they’re lucky if any given post gets more than 25k **views** , and even luckier if those same posts crack a couple hundred actual engagements via likes and comments. I wouldn’t bet that their click-through traffic is much better. So sure. “organically connecting with its community,” if that means “a few low-effort posts from an intern per week with essentially no engagement whatsoever.” ---

Someone was going on about Musk’s anti-union stance, saying he’s right that stock options are better than raises because you get a stake in the company that will grow. I pointed out that he was bragging about giving Twitter employees equity in the company as a benefit, before he told the chief sources of revenue to go fuck themselves. So maybe the folks working at Tesla would like their money up front… ---

That’s got to be a fake, right? There’s no way in hell I’m creating a Twitter account (and you couldn’t get me to even before Elmo took over), and it’s hard for me to forgive you for making me look up the Twitter account of [TFG](https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump) (but I’ll try 🤣), but it looks like the only thing he’s posted since being unbanned is his mugshot on Aug 24th. That and it’s a pink checkmark TFG has in his handle in that photo. ---

That’s not Xitter, that’s a screenshot from that “alternate” website they set up to counteract Twitter, but for righties (I’ve forgotten the name - is it Parler, or something else?). But in fairness, it could well be fake, and I’m certainly not joining that platform to check! ETA: Truth Social, and I think I fell for one. Sorry guys. 😬 ---
