“Every illegal is a highly likely vote?” That would be an extreme assumption even for a devoted MAGA person. That’s millions of illegal votes happening out in the open that for some reason nobody can see. At least Trump’s people suggest these things are happening in secret. ---

Not really, that is meaningless. It just means each undocumented person in the US “highly likely” represents an illegal vote somehow. That’s 10.5 million votes for Democrats happening because they’re able to walk into a polling place or somehow get a mailed ballot in their name and nobody checks anything. 10.5 million times that happens and nobody catches it. Not even Republican election workers. Does he think they are literally wizards or something? ---

Maybe “Brandon” is just a corruption of the Sindarin name _Barad_-_dûr_, which was Sauron’s main fortress in Mordor. Just as the Baranduin became the Brandywine river. I wonder how hard it would be to convince Qanon folks that Tolkien was some kind of proto-Q warning people in advance of the coming of Biden. ---

But, in this post, he’s repeating something some people genuinely believe. I can’t be sure he doesn’t know it’s bunk, but he writes it in the same style as his other posts where he thinks he knows what he’s talking about. And it’s very much in line with his previously stated white supremacist beliefs. Plus, if he has good enough acting ability to pretend to be one of the idiot conspiracy theorists, then I think he would have done a better job faking it in other situations. I don’t think he actually likes that people think he’s stupid now. ---

Of course Musk would criticize the show, and then sidle up to it and try to involve himself in it. _Of course_ he would do that. Because that’s _such_ a good use of his time and energy. Then fast forward to 2021, when Musk made his intensely cringetastic and unfunny appearance on Saturday Night Live. Preening, mugging, grasping at cultural cachet, imagining himself as conquering a new world while revealing himself as an awkward doofus without a molecule of genuine comic energy. Well, not in the conscious way he intends, anyway. Now that brings us to today, and his reply-guy schtick on Xitter, retweeting memes and recycling the same seven or eight joke premises, insulating himself in a bubble of ego-reinforcing adulation from his crowd of toadies and sycophants. “Excellent wit, my lord!” they respond, after Musk reposts a gif of a dog sniffing another dog’s balls or whatever. It’s arguable the degree to which he’s legitimately got a knack for technology leadership, but what’s not arguable is that outside of that circle, he’s one of the most wretchedly insecure and emotionally needy losers on the planet. So yeah. He _hates_ it when he steps on his nuts in public. _Hates_ it. Oh well. Sucks to be him.
