“Free speech” = I get to say what I want and everybody else gets to respond the way I want them to. See? That’s not too hard to understand. What’s hard to understand is how someone with a 4yo’s understanding of human behavior got to be in charge of anything. Or how it is that hundreds of millions of people seem to accept this 4yo “logic” as long as it’s in support of them, but not when it’s deployed against them. ---

Because if Apple takes a 30% cut on the sales in the app store, that is, if something costs a dollar, 30 cent go to apple and 70 cent go to the original seller, that is a 42.85% “tax” (wrong word anyway, and of course it is not secret at all, everybody knows that, but never mind), not 30%. And if it isn’t so, then the expression “take a cut of 30%” means something different than what I thought (wouldn’t be the first time, so fight my ignorance then). OK, so Trump has learned over 25 years what the average six-year-old has learned in two. Sounds about right. Although the comparisons are only approximate. Most six-year-olds have the self-control to not throw ketchup at the wall when they have tantrums. It’s likely that even Musk isn’t a ketchup-thrower, and probably doesn’t dine on cremated steaks re-hydrated in ketchup. But in terms of common ground, both the mental 4-year-old and the mental 6-year-old are Nazi admirers, and embrace a philosophy of free speech directly from the playbook of Joseph Goebbels.
