The overhead on a place like this looks insane. Yeah, a robot that stands at the popcorn machine and hands out bags doesn’t impress me too much. Replace the waiters and cooks and not we’re talking about a real tech demo / arson target for the blue collar masses. ---

That CNBC article uses the phrase “giant megascreens” a word combo that firstly, should have the writer thrashed until they understand the meaning of the prefix mega and secondly appear to be describing bog standard, normal sized, drive-in screens. Now I’m 99.999999999999% certain that the phrase “giant megascreens” came straight from Tesla but to repeat it unthinkingly is pathetic as fuck. ---

I think the most significant thing about all of musk’s ideas is that they _all_ amount to “replace all humans”. I propose that it would be far less disruptive to the world to simply “replace one musk”. As one of his fellow billionaires once said (paraphrasing): Musk is simple; he believes only he is worthwhile and everyone else on Earth are a useless inferior species of animals. ---
