I don’t think “big head” necessarily correlates to “better brain.” Larger brain, perhaps. There used to be an argument that women weren’t as intelligent as men because their brains were smaller: I don’t think anyone believes that anymore—at least not anyone whose opinion on the subject should be taken seriously. ---

IIRC - Broadly speaking, a large brain at birth (relative to the brains of other species) was an evolutionary advantage for humans and is one reason while human childbirth is arduous and dangerous relative to other species. However (and I think this is where Elon’s logic falls apart) while there are lots of reasons for a Caesarian birth, “this baby’s brain is just too damn big” is not one of them. ---

As I understood it, walking upright is the other constraint which puts limits on how wide a woman’s hips can be to accommodate that big head. If we were quadrupeds, the big head would be something that could be adapted to. ---

Yeah, his understanding of British government - or indeed of the particular issue he’s railing about - is on par with his understanding of most topics. Which is to say flawed to the point of delusion and largely composed of shallow right-wing propaganda. ---

OTOH, if Charles were to try and dismiss Parliament, I imagine the result would be that Parliament would dismiss him. Thankfully for him, the UK abolished capital punishment in 1998, so his dismissal won’t go the same way his namesake’s did. ---

Whilst 1998 is technically correct (for some military crimes and treason), a more reasonable date for abolition is 1965 (1973 in Northern Ireland). The last execution was in 1964. Apologies for the hijack. ---

Elmo’s underlying attitude comes through in everything he says and does. His bit about King Charles isn’t a sign of ignorance about modern UK governance. Instead it’s simply another manifestation of his worldview. To wit: The world should be ruled by at most a handful of absolute dictators, be they evil or benign. And I, Elmo, will be the _capo di tutti capi_ of them all. By divine right, superior DNA, and a complete absence of fluoride in my precious bodily fluids. ---
