Yeah, he helped take it from a boutique operation to a segment leader. Pretty impressive but not really “from scratch”. One wishes he were still finding those sorts of things to keep him occupied ---

Unlike other groups who have taken direct action against Tesla vehicles and showrooms: our team, People who hate Devious, Odious, Greedy, Elon took some of his children. Two problems: 1. He didn’t notice. 2. The kids refused to go back citing extreme indifference. ---

It should be noted that this was a theme of Holocaust denialists for a while during the 90s - that Hitler may have hated the Jews but he didn’t want to _kill_ them, and instead the people who worked for him “took it too far” in a sense. Utterly refuted by the historical record, of course, but that didn’t stop it from being promulgated by certain unsavory folks. ---

Burning up a parked Tesla is a real lousy way to hurt elmo, as opposed to hurting the car’s owner. It also hands the Fascists a ready-made reason to launch radical violent policing to stop this hooliganism that’s spreading like, well a EV fire. ---
