So who does that leave in terms of “everybody knows but they haven’t confirmed”? That used to be a much longer list (Jodie Foster, Anderson Cooper, Sean Hayes, Zachary Quinto, Sean Maher, David Hyde Pierce, Wanda Sykes, etc.), but now I can only really think of Kevin Spacey and Queen Latifah. ---

I thought Queen Latifah was definitely out. Heck, she’s got a talk show now-isn’t it a prerequisite? Anyway, add to your list the Scientology crew. ---

No, she’s apparently still saying her sex life is nobody’s business. Which might be a valid point when you’re a performer like a singer or an actress. But when you choose to have your own talk show and become a celebrity interviewer yourself, it seems a little thin. Latifah’s either going to be a softball host who doesn’t ask her guests anything that make them uncomfortable or she’s going to hypocritically apply a different standard to her guests than she wants for herself. ---

I liked the way George Clooney responded to a gay rumor. (Clooney is either a genuine heterosexual or is extremely committed to faking it with a string of women.) A magazine had said that Clooney is “gay gay gay” and Clooney responded “I’m only gay gay. The third gay is pushing it.” ---

She’s also marshaled and performed at Gay Pride festivals, only to make a quick “I never said I’m gay! None of your business!” comment when referred to as lesbian. Though everyone I know who has met her (she’s in Atlanta quite a bit) says she very openly travels with her girlfriend, so at least she’s not in denial apparently.\* To the “still in [if gay]” list, from the OP, Tyler Perry is still in (assuming he’s gay [safe assumption imho]). And a WWE wrestler, [Darren Young](http://www.latimes.com/sports/sportsnow/la-sp-sn-wwe-wrestler-darren-young-gay-20130815,0,2132764.story#axzz2cj5fjkGs), came out quite casually the other day. Knowing next to nothing about wrestling I’ve no idea where he is career wise (i.e. if he’s a wrestling equivalent of A-List or Corey Feldman). \*True, not every celebrity who has been involved in Gay Pride is gay- Elizabeth Montgomery was co-marshal of one in LA as a favor to her friend/TV husband Dick Sargent and Cyndi Lauper does them as a wave to her gay fans and because she has a lesbian sister- but, when there are rumors about you already it shouldn’t surprise you that people assume you’re gay when you let your name be used on a gay pride celebration. ---
