!! I see a Super Timeline Soap Opera Reproductive Plot Twist! All thanks to \*\* carnivorousplant’s \*\* observation: Archer is Kirk’s father, or grandfather, or whatever (I don’t know how many years there are between). Hence the simlarity in vocal patterns. T’Pol is Spock’s mom, or grandma, or whatever. Hence the similarity in ears (shut up, I know all Vulcans look like that. Quit raining on my parade!). I could go on, but there’s no need. Knowing Berman and Braga, i wouldn’t be surprised if Malcomb and T’Pol give birth to baby Spock in season 6. But if they throw in more topless Hoshi i will forgive them… ---

Good gad, what have I done? WhathaveIdone? Seriously. if Enterprise is 100 years before TOS, could they meet Sarek? That would explain why Sarek didn’t want Spock to go into Star Fleet-all those loose women without shirts. ---

I thought it was a perfectly passable second half of a two-part episode. They always seem disappointing because the first part sets up a situation it’s impossible to get out of, and then the second part has them getting out of it. If the first part was any good at setting up an unwinnable situation, then the second can usually only succeed with some sort of deus ex machina. But in this case it was at least well put-together. I liked the crew interaction and thought the bit with a drugged-out T’Pol was well crafted. Also, Hoshi had her hands on her boobs, so that was fun. Looking forward to the coming season. –Cliffy ---
