An [Australian outfit](http://www.metalstorm.com/) has developed a weapons system that is capable of firing 240,000 rounds per minute.

And they’ve got a 36-barrel prototype that’ll spit out _a million rounds a minute_.

The mind reels.

That would pretty much vaporize a human being, wouldn’t it?

It would if it could fire continuously. But, once you’ve blown your 36 barrels, it’s reload time.
