If you get a response at all. You also usually don’t get to add in an apology or other note of any kind either. It usually just goes to a generic error page. So I suspect someone (who may or may not frequent the boards), may have had some kind of snit or hissy fit one day, put up the page in a bit of a huff, then forgot about it until it got found today. _Puts Poirot monacle in eye, starts looking for suspects_… Let’s see who is prone to snits? Too many people suck. Try not to feel too bad about it. I have gotten more and more withdrawn in the last year because of the exact same hting. I don’t even keep a public journal anymore to interact with my fans because certain people seem to love so much kicking you when you’re down, and insulting your life’s work just because they don’t feel it’s a worthwhile endeavour. I’m glad you got it taken down quickly. No one really deserves that kind of thing from people that don’t even know them. It’s a shame the world has to be that way. ---

Interestingly, if you put “Eve Golden is a man” into [Google](http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=%22eve+golden+is+a+man%22&btnG=Google+Search), the site comes up with the current “apology”. ---

Quite right. And do you notice that most of the people who kick you the most often haven’t done jack shit themselves? That’s usually the pattern. I suspect it was none other than, **Eve**! Clearly this is just a stunt to generate publicity for her upcoming book on the Castles. Some of you may object that this book won’t hit the stores for a few years yet. I say, only somebody with a serius laudanum addiction could have such a poor grasp of time. Somebody like, **Eve**. ---
